Fraser Coast Region Distribution   One area mapped only in south-east of region at Kauri Creek, Tin Can Bay

Long Description   Closed sedgeland to heathland with emergent trees. Characteristic species include Schoenus brevifolius and/or Machaerina juncea and/or Banksia robur and/or Melaleuca nodosa. Sometimes grading into Banksia aemula woodland on rises. Usually occurs on lower slopes subject to periodic water logging on Cainozoic and Mesozoic sediments. Palustrine. (BVG1M: 34f).
