Uncommon in the Fraser coast region reported at Walligan (Vernon Conservation Park), Tandora, Maaroom (Poona National Park), and Burgowan (Churchill Mines Rd) (Alan Logan). A small, erect plant with 2-3 linear-narrow lanceolate 5-8cm long leaves with prominent veins. Flowering stem 12-20cm high with 5-12 greenish brown 1cm high flowers. Flowering period January-March. Previously known as Liparis habenarina. Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
