One record only for Fraser Coast region at Nikenbah (1928). Reported flowering September 2016 at Poona. Previously known as Caesalpinia bonduc (Queensland Flora Census 2017).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
