Recorded distribution has the Fraser Coast region as near the southern limit with a few records further south into north-west Gympie region.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 22 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Craignish, Toogoom, Point Vernon, Urraween, Howard, Dundowran, Booral, River Heads, Burrum Heads, Gigoomgan, Bauple, Tiaro, Boompa, Doongul, Eli Waters, Duckinwilla, Mount Urah, Takura, Tinana, Maryborough, Pialba.
