Sometimes confused with Tinospora smilacina. Leaves of Sarcopetalum harveyanum 7-veined from the base. Upper and lower pulvinus obvious and elongated. Leaves of Tinospora smilacina 3 or 5-veined from the base. It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
