Recorded outside of Fraser Coast region near Tewantin and Brisbane. Well established at Fay Smith Wetlands in Maryborough (flowering December 2017) likely from a garden escape. It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
