Many Queensland Flora Census records for the Moreton district. Nearest record to Fraser Coast region is near Buderim. Often reported across the region as an established weed in bushland areas near houses. Listed as an invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014, but not prohibited or restricted.
It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 18 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, Point Vernon, Toogoom, Craignish, Urangan, Pialba, Dundowran Beach, Maryborough, Glenwood, River Heads, Granville, Bidwill, Tinana, Gundiah, Magnolia, Howard, Walligan, Urraween.
