Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region recorded on K'gari. Reported at Tinnanbar. A small, slender plant with a basal semi-rosette of ovate-elliptical 2-3 X 1-1.5cm long leaves above ground level. Flower stem 10-20cm high with 8-25 5mm long brown flowers with a yellow and white labellum. All parts of plant (except labellum) densely hairy (Alan Logan).

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
