Erect perrenial shrub to one metre tall (Rhonda Melzer and Joel Plumb. 2007. Plants of Capricornia). Widespread in Queensland and across northern Australia. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets linear to obovate, 0.5–3.6 cm long, 1–10 mm wide, upper surface glabrous and minutely stippled, lower surface hoary or pubescent; petiole 4–15 mm long. Corolla 4–12 mm long, yellow, often streaked with red; wings 4–8 mm long; keel with beak 3.5–10 mm long, twisted tightly at apex. (PlantNET). Flowers clumped together more than most crotalarias. Note keel longer than wings.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 2 Fraser Coast localities: Mount Urah, Boompa.
