As at 01/07/2016 declared as a Local Law Pest Plant for the Fraser Coast region. Reported on the Mary River at Netherby and St Mary (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/298315690, https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/325838054).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
