Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
In Fraser Coast region recorded only at Mt Urah but widespread eslwhere in eastern Australia. Also reported on K'gari (Fraser Island).

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 10 Fraser Coast localities: Walligan, Dundowran Beach, Talegalla Weir, St Mary, Poona, Tinnanbar, River Heads, K'gari, Takura, Tuan Forest.
