Species information

Digitaria breviglumis   (Domin) Henrard

This native groundcover is commonly known as short finger grass.

Digitaria breviglumis is described as a "monocot" in the Poaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

May be confused with Digitaria diminuta. 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Duckinwilla, Cherwell, Walligan, Bauple Forest, Sunshine Acres, Antigua, St Mary, Teebar, Beelbi Creek, Woocoo, Mount Urah, Poona, Talegalla Weir.
