Species information

Diospyros fasciculosa   (F.Muell.) F.Muell.

This native tree is commonly known as grey ebony.

Diospyros fasciculosa is described as a "dicot" in the Ebenaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 31 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Craignish, Burrum River, Toogoom, Takura, Urraween, Point Vernon, Duckinwilla, Burrum Heads, Kanigan, Booral, Bidwill, Magnolia, Yerra, Gigoomgan, Bauple, Teddington, Malarga, River Heads, Talegalla Weir, Boompa, St Mary, Eli Waters, Mount Urah, Doongul, Howard, Urangan, Tuan Forest, Woocoo, Owanyilla, Brooweena.
