Species information

Caladenia fuscata   (Rchb.f.) M.A.Clem. & D.L.Jones

This native groundcover is commonly known as dusky fingers.

Caladenia fuscata is described as a "monocot" in the Orchidaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Not recorded in Fraser Coast region according to the Queensland Flora Census. However there are two records for the region in the Australasian Virtual Herbarium (preserved specimens held outside of Queensland). One on the mainland and one on Fraser Island. 

It has not been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is not listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
