Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
"Tick orchid". A medium sized plant that scrambles over tree and rock surfaces (epiphytic & lithophytic). Stems creeping over surfaces with numerous 2-4cm long, thick, fleshy grooved leaves. Flowering racemes 10-18cm long, erect or drooping, with 8-20 2-3cm diameter white feathery flowers. Also reported on K'gari (Fraser Island) (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/111619763) Flowering period July-September. Bauple Mountain N/P. (Alan Logan). Listed as a special least concern species in Queensland (https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/plants/protected-plants/harvesting).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 12 Fraser Coast localities: Poona, Tinnanbar, Bauple, St Mary, Teddington, Tuan Forest, Mount Urah, Duckinwilla, Brooweena, Takura, Woocoo, Magnolia.
