Eclipta prostrata   (L.) L. WEED

This introduced groundcover is commonly known as white eclipta.

Eclipta prostrata is described as a "dicot" in the Asteraceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 18 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, River Heads, Talegalla Weir, Bauple Forest, Tuan Forest, Burrum Heads, Maryborough, Walligan, Mount Urah, Tinana South, Teddington, Owanyilla, Tiaro, Tinnanbar, Urraween, Maryborough West, St Helens, Gootchie.
