In Fraser Coast region recorded from Fraser Island, Tinana Creek and coastal areas near Poona, Tinnanbar and Tin Can Bay. Also reported at Beelbi Creek, Craignish, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach and Tuan Forest. Fraser Coast populations at the northernmost coastal part of range (Peter Young).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 10 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Craignish, Dundowran, Beelbi Creek, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Magnolia, Tuan Forest, K'gari.
