Species information

Eucalyptus exserta   F.Muell.

This native tree is commonly known as Queensland peppermint.

Eucalyptus exserta is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 63 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, Takura, Urangan, Dundowran, Craignish, Sunshine Acres, Pacific Haven, Walligan, Urraween, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Wondunna, Susan River, Torquay, Duckinwilla, Cherwell, Burrum Town, Walliebum, Nikenbah, Tandora, Great Sandy Strait, Yengarie, Doongul, Glenwood, Dunmora, Beelbi Creek, Mount Urah, Bidwill, Pialba, St Helens, Walkers Point, Beaver Rock, Teddington, Yerra, Antigua, Bauple, Glenorchy, Tinana, Island Plantation, Mungar, Paterson, Bauple Forest, Talegalla Weir, Boompa, Aldershot, Eli Waters, Kawungan, Owanyilla, Maaroom, Granville, River Heads, Aramara, Woocoo, St Mary, Brooweena, Tuan Forest, Glenbar, Point Vernon, Maryborough, Gootchie, Teebar, Maryborough West, Boonooroo Plains.
