Significant local species due to restricted distribution within the Fraser Coast region. Recorded on K'gari (Fraser Island) with two mainland records near Tinnanbar. Unconfirmed reports at Burrum River (Howard), Susan River and Tinana. Recently observed at Poona Creek (see iNaturalist Australia, https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/186119713).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Howard, Burrum Town, Susan River, Tuan Forest.
