Species information

Eucalyptus latisinensis   K.D.Hill

This native tree is commonly known as broad-leaved white mahogany.

Eucalyptus latisinensis is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Flowering in July-August. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 46 Fraser Coast localities: Craignish, Urangan, Sunshine Acres, Pacific Haven, Walligan, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Wondunna, Takura, Toogoom, Duckinwilla, Torquay, Cherwell, Howard, Burrum Town, Burgowan, Walliebum, Prawle, Dundowran, Tandora, Booral, Dundowran Beach, Urraween, River Heads, Pialba, Kawungan, Dunmora, Beelbi Creek, Poona, Walkers Point, Beaver Rock, Bidwill, Tuan, Tuan Forest, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Teddington, Susan River, Malarga, K'gari, Yengarie, Point Vernon, Boonooroo Plains, Maaroom, Granville, Tin Can Bay.
