Species information

Eustrephus latifolius   R.Br. ex Ker Gawl.

This native vine or climber is commonly known as wombat berry.

Eustrephus latifolius is described as a "monocot" in the Laxmanniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 63 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, Takura, Dundathu, River Heads, Urangan, Craignish, Pacific Haven, Walligan, Dundowran Beach, Urraween, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Wondunna, Susan River, Toogoom, Torquay, Point Vernon, Aldershot, Duckinwilla, Nikenbah, Tiaro, Dundowran, Howard, Sunshine Acres, Yengarie, Kawungan, Doongul, Kanigan, Pialba, Glenwood, Dunmora, Beelbi Creek, Mount Urah, Bidwill, Maryborough, St Helens, Granville, Walkers Point, Teddington, Yerra, Antigua, Gigoomgan, Bauple, Glenorchy, Tinana, Mungar, Paterson, Great Sandy Strait, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Magnolia, Tuan Forest, Tandora, Malarga, K'gari, Burrum Town, St Mary, Eli Waters, Gundiah, Boonooroo Plains, Bauple Forest, Maryborough West.
