Previously known as Ficus superba var. henneana (Queensland Flora Census 2015). In Fraser Coast region recorded near Gundiah. Reported on slopes of Mt Bauple. Elsewhere found along the whole east coast and also the Northern Territory.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
