Species information

Flindersia australis   R.Br.

This native tree is commonly known as crows ash.

Flindersia australis is described as a "dicot" in the Rutaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 44 Fraser Coast localities: Takura, Craignish, Urraween, Toogoom, Duckinwilla, River Heads, Howard, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Yengarie, Booral, Kawungan, Doongul, Kanigan, Walligan, Glenwood, Mount Urah, Yerra, Pialba, Bidwill, Teddington, Antigua, Gigoomgan, Bauple, Glenorchy, Gootchie, Tinana, Mungar, Paterson, Tiaro, Magnolia, Malarga, Boompa, Owanyilla, Gundiah, Granville, St Mary, Tinana South, Talegalla Weir, Bauple Forest, Woocoo, Tuan Forest, Teebar, Point Vernon.
