Species information

Gompholobium pinnatum   Sm.

This native groundcover is commonly known as poor-man's gold.

Gompholobium pinnatum is described as a "dicot" in the Leguminosae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 31 Fraser Coast localities: Urangan, Walligan, Burrum Heads, Burrum River, Wondunna, Duckinwilla, Cherwell, Burgowan, Walliebum, Prawle, Booral, Craignish, Pacific Haven, Howard, Dunmora, Beelbi Creek, Bidwill, Teddington, Poona, Tuan Forest, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, K'gari, Burrum Town, Susan River, Boonooroo Plains, Granville, Tin Can Bay, Maaroom, Sunshine Acres, St Mary.
