Species information

Goodenia rotundifolia   R.Br.

This native groundcover is commonly known as round-leaved goodenia.

Goodenia rotundifolia is described as a "dicot" in the Goodeniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 47 Fraser Coast localities: Dundathu, Urangan, Booral, Pacific Haven, Craignish, Walligan, Burrum River, Burrum Heads, Susan River, Duckinwilla, Sunshine Acres, Yengarie, Torbanlea, Howard, Bauple Forest, Dunmora, Beelbi Creek, Mount Urah, Walkers Point, Beaver Rock, Bidwill, Teddington, Yerra, Antigua, Bauple, Tinana, Paterson, Poona, Tinnanbar, Talegalla Weir, Magnolia, Boompa, Tandora, K'gari, Doongul, St Mary, Owanyilla, Maaroom, Granville, River Heads, Walliebum, Maryborough, Takura, Tuan Forest, Woocoo, Tiaro, Maryborough West.
