Species information

Hakea actites   W.R.Barker

This native shrub is commonly known as needle leaved hakea.

Hakea actites is described as a "dicot" in the Proteaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 25 Fraser Coast localities: Urangan, Sunshine Acres, Booral, Wondunna, Pacific Haven, Burrum Heads, Dundowran, Walligan, Urraween, Howard, Burrum River, Beelbi Creek, Bidwill, Tinana, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Teddington, Burrum Town, Aldershot, Susan River, Boonooroo Plains, Maaroom, Granville, Tuan Forest.
