Species information

Harpullia pendula   Planch. ex F.Muell.

This native tree is commonly known as Queensland tulip wood.

Harpullia pendula is described as a "dicot" in the Sapindaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Flowering Yengarie February 2016. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 23 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Toogoom, Dundowran, Kanigan, Walligan, Burrum Heads, Bidwill, Bauple, Teddington, Malarga, River Heads, Tiaro, Magnolia, Bauple Forest, Boompa, Yerra, Eli Waters, Mount Urah, Doongul, Tinana, Howard, St Mary, Maryborough.
