One record for Fraser Coast region at Maryborough. Elsewhere widely distributed across northern and north-eastern Australia. Also reported at Gootchie (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/282029932). Regarded as a wetland species in Queensland WetlandInfo.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
