Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region with one disjunct southern limit record at Dundathu. Also reported at Urangan and Craignish. Pinnately veined with 6–8 pairs of lateral veins (Gwen Harden, Hugh Nicholson, Bill McDonald, Nan Nicholson, Terry Tame, John Williams. 2014. Rainforest Plants of Australia). In Kew Plants of the World Online known as Alchornea ilicifolia.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 3 Fraser Coast localities: Burrum Heads, Dundathu, Urangan.
