Uncommon on the the Fraser Coast region with records at Bauple and Mt Walsh at the northern limit of this species. Also reported at Tinana and Tinana Creek. Previously known as Leucopogon juniperinus (Queensland Flora Census 2020).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Tinana, Magnolia, Talegalla Weir, Owanyilla.
