zamia palm.
Macrozamia cardiacensis
is described as a "cycad"
in the
Zamiaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Was Macrozamia sp. (Mt Walsh P.I.Forster). Restricted to within Mt Walsh National Park (Austrobaileya Vol 6 Number 1 2001) and recorded in the Fraser Coast region according to Wildlife Online (Accessed 24 Nov 2016).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
