According to Australia's Virtual Herbarium records distribution in Fraser Coast region is limited to Tin Can Bay locality. Widely reported elsewhere particularly in coastal areas. Outside of the region outlier records near Eidsvold and Goodwood.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 17 Fraser Coast localities: Craignish, Pacific Haven, Burrum River, Burrum Heads, Urangan, Kawungan, Dunmora, Beelbi Creek, Poona, Tuan Forest, Bauple Forest, Talegalla Weir, Teddington, Boonooroo Plains, Takura, Dundathu, Bidwill.
