This native epiphyte
is commonly known as
vine mistletoe.
Muellerina myrtifolia
is described as a "dicot"
in the
Loranthaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Near Threatened.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Recorded just west of the region at Coongara Rock. Main distribution is east of Warwick with an outlier at Kroombit Tops south of Gladstone. One Fraser Coast region report from near Aramara.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
