Uncommon in the Fraser Coast region recorded at Dundowran, Eli Creek, Craignish, Takura, Burrum River, Lenthalls Dam, River Heads, K'gari (Fraser Island), Tinana Creek and Mt Bauple. At northern limit of its distribution range apart from a disjunct occurrence at the Watalgan State Forest near Bundaberg.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 13 Fraser Coast localities: Craignish, Urraween, Duckinwilla, River Heads, Howard, Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Booral, Teddington, Magnolia, Bauple Forest, Tuan Forest, Takura.
