Species information

Paspalidium gausum   S.T.Blake

This native groundcover is commonly known as sago grass.

Paspalidium gausum is described as a "monocot" in the Poaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

In the InternationalPlant Names Index known as Setaria gausa. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 12 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, St Mary, Burrum Heads, Talegalla Weir, Poona, Mount Urah, Tiaro, Boonooroo Plains, Granville, Tuan Forest, Owanyilla, K'gari.
