mangrove mistletoe.
Amyema mackayensis
is described as a "dicot"

Loranthaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Relatively high host specificity and a vegetative resemblance to Avicennia marina and Rhizophora spp. (Barlow and Wiens 1977 Australian mistletoe mimicry). Uncommon mistletoe on grey mangrove Avicennia marina (Mangroves to Mountains, Leiper, Glazebrook, Cox and Rathie). Also reported at Aubinville, Maryborough (2011).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 8 Fraser Coast localities: Burrum River, Beelbi Creek, Tinnanbar, K'gari, Point Vernon, Poona, Booral, Maaroom.
