This native shrub
is commonly known as
wallum phebalium.
Phebalium woombye
is described as a "dicot"
in the
Rutaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Usualy flowers are white. A pink flowered variant is known from inland localities including Mt Walsh and Gundiah (Stanley and Ross).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 14 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran, Burrum Heads, Pacific Haven, Craignish, Beelbi Creek, Poona, Tinnanbar, K'gari, Howard, Burrum Town, Tuan Forest, Mount Urah, St Mary, Takura.
