phyllanthus.
Phyllanthus mitchellii
is described as a "dicot"
in the
Phyllanthaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Erect bushy, glabrous shrub. Leaves rigid, under 1/2 in. long. Flowers nearly sessile (Flora Australiensis 6: 103 (1873)). Main population inland to the north-west of the Fraser Coast region.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
