Species information

Pimelea linifolia subsp. linifolia   Sm.

This native groundcover is commonly known as Queen of the bush.

Pimelea linifolia subsp. linifolia is described as a "dicot" in the Thymelaeaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Flowers white or pink (Stanley and Ross. 1986. Flora of south-eastern Queensland, Volume 2). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 10 Fraser Coast localities: Beelbi Creek, Poona, Boonooroo Plains, Granville, Tuan Forest, Maaroom, Walligan, Talegalla Weir, K'gari, Takura.
