This native shrub
is commonly known as
mint bush.
Prostanthera lithospermoides
is described as a "dicot"
in the
Lamiaceae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.
Distribution is from Gayndah and westwards. Whitish, pinkish or bluish flowers (Stanley and Ross. 1986. Flora of south-eastern Queensland).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
