Species information

Psychotria loniceroides   Sieber ex DC.

This native shrub is commonly known as hairy psychotria.

Psychotria loniceroides is described as a "dicot" in the Rubiaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Fruiting St Mary May 2016. 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 25 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran Beach, Duckinwilla, K'gari, River Heads, Howard, Burrum Heads, Bidwill, Gigoomgan, Bauple, Teddington, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tinnanbar, Tiaro, Tuan Forest, Magnolia, Tinana, Toogoom, Doongul, Eli Waters, St Mary, Mount Urah, Takura, Urangan, Woocoo.
