Species information

Rhodamnia dumicola   Guymer & Jessup

This native tree is commonly known as rib-fruited malletwood.

Rhodamnia dumicola is described as a "dicot" in the Myrtaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Endangered. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 21 Fraser Coast localities: Craignish, Takura, Urraween, Duckinwilla, Howard, Glenwood, Bidwill, Magnolia, Teddington, Bauple, Maryborough, Talegalla Weir, River Heads, Boompa, Doongul, K'gari, Eli Waters, Dundowran Beach, St Mary, Mount Urah, Gootchie.
