Very uncommon in the Fraser Coast region recorded only at Mt Walsh. Reported at Toolara Forest in Gympie region. Commersonia is included in the family Malvaceae in the Australian Plant Census.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
