Schinus terebinthifolius   Raddi WEED

This introduced tree is commonly known as broad-leaved pepper tree.

Schinus terebinthifolius is described as a "dicot" in the Anacardiaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is not classified as it is not native to Queensland. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

A category 3 restricted invasive plant under the Biosecurity Act 2014. Red fruit on female trees.  

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 36 Fraser Coast localities: Booral, Craignish, Sunshine Acres, Dundowran Beach, Yengarie, Point Vernon, Toogoom, Torquay, Duckinwilla, Tiaro, Urraween, Urangan, Pialba, Walligan, Maryborough, Glenwood, River Heads, Granville, Bidwill, Tinana, Teddington, Island Plantation, Poona, Talegalla Weir, Tandora, Susan River, Eli Waters, Great Sandy Strait, Kawungan, Magnolia, Burrum Heads, Howard, Tinana South, K'gari, Takura, Tuan.
