Prickles absent; long central ray of stellate hairs on upper leaf surface (Tony Bean, https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/149796660, https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/123188677).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
