This native shrub
is commonly known as
brush sophora.
Sophora fraseri
is described as a "dicot"
in the
Leguminosae
family.
In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable.
Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is classified as Vulnerable.
A small sparsely branched shrub growing 1 - 2 m tall. No records in Fraser Coast region. Main distribution is from Kilkivan southward and with a northern disjunct population at Boyne Valley.
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census but is not
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
