Petals not forming calyptra, not shed as flower opens. Hypanthiums less than 1 cm long. Stamens 1-2 cm long. Petals 4-6 mm long. (Flora of south-east Queensland). Also reported at Teebar Creek (https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/142774919)
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
