Species information

Goodenia mystrophylla   K.A.Sheph.

This native groundcover is commonly known as wild pansies.

Goodenia mystrophylla is described as a "dicot" in the Goodeniaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

Previously known as Velleia spathulata (Queensland Flora Census 2021). 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 29 Fraser Coast localities: Duckinwilla, Cherwell, Burgowan, Walligan, Prawle, Beelbi Creek, River Heads, Poona, Tinnanbar, Burrum Town, Susan River, Talegalla Weir, Doongul, Boonooroo Plains, Granville, Tandora, Tuan Forest, Maryborough, Tinana, Burrum Heads, Takura, Maaroom, Gootchie, Sunshine Acres, St Mary, Teebar, Dunmora, Tiaro, Boompa.
