Species information

Zieria smithii   Andrews

This native shrub is commonly known as sandfly zieria.

Zieria smithii is described as a "dicot" in the Rutaceae family.

In the Queensland Nature Conservation Act it is classified as Least Concern. Under the Federal Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act it is not classified.

 

It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.

Reported at 24 Fraser Coast localities: Dundowran, Dundowran Beach, Booral, Urraween, Nikenbah, K'gari, Kawungan, Craignish, Teddington, Bauple, Tinnanbar, Bauple Forest, Tuan Forest, St Mary, Takura, Urangan, Burrum Heads, Mount Urah, Doongul, Glenwood, Duckinwilla, Tinana, Sunshine Acres, Boompa.
