Uncommon in the Fraser Coast Region recorded at Mount Walsh. Also reported at St Mary, Doongul and Glenbar State Forest. Dense, mat-forming, tussock like, of rocky mountain areas (Mangroves to Mountains, Revised Edition. 2008. Leiper, Glazebrook, Cox and Rathie).
It has been recorded in the Wide Bay district in the Queensland Herbarium Census and is
listed as occurring in the Fraser Coast region in the Atlas of Living Australia.
Reported at 4 Fraser Coast localities: Boompa, Mount Urah, Doongul, St Mary.
